We went to the doctor yesterday and had to go into the 'sick door' - this was a first. He is five months old and this is his first time to be 'sick' - we found out he has an ear infection. We got an antibiotic late yesterday and they say within 2 days he should feel MUCH better.
Because of the pain in his ear and his cough, it is hard for him to sleep, so last night he slept in between Rob and I. Although neither of us got much sleep, it was such a sweet experience to be able to hold him and do our best to make him feel better throughout the night. As he laid between us we looked at one another and realized that from now on 'it's not about us' anymore - we have a little baby who is priority now and neither one of us would have it any other way! Feel better Beckham - we love you.
Poor baby boy!! It's so sad when they get sick and can't sleep well! Praying that sweet baby gets to feeling better and y'all get some sleep (eventhough you are right...it's not about you anymore...and that is fine and dandy!) love y'all!
